Why you ask? I just cut my first canopy masks with the Silhouette cutter that I bought. I bought Do-335 masks, but I was so excited about finding them for the Revell kit, I didh't pay attention that they were 1/72 rather than 1/48. Scanned them, made them 150% and once I figured out the cutter, we have 1/48 scale masks. So, please save your backing sheets from your masks, you can send them to me and we can cut some to see how this all works.

I have to go buy some wider tape, though. Tried some frisket from HL and it is simply too clear and too thin. I put a strip of blue painters tape down and Shazaam....

Thomas - Fit may be a bit off, but seems to be easily corrected with a bit of tape. Much easier to do that on a spot or two. This is probably not the best test, as much as I've been messing around with it. We'll see.

A nice feather is that you can ungroup the image and cut the individual panes if you want. With the ungrouping, you can also (it would seem) ungroup a star/bar or other decals and cut the individual pieces.

I may even add a line of pre-cut 1", 1.5" pieces of wires from speaker wire. Hey, I could be on to something.
