Wingnut Wings 1/32 Avro Lancaster B.Mk.1/III.

Ohh. 2019.

I don't know even know what to write. This looks... legendary. Only superlatives will do! Details beyond the level of anything else except maybe ZM's FW190 which will come out... soon?

Seriously—go look at the CAD drawings of the engines. I just... Beyond words here. Whatever those Wingnuts are doing will rewrite the books on styrene tooling.

What is also very interesting to see, the pictures of the sprues are all from July 2017, that is more than a year ago.

One can wonder, what more is there to be seen!

But agree, so far, outstanding work!

When Peter Jackson does his Dambusters remake, I can see this being released. Along with a Lancaster Special

Oh I definitely want one! I'll need to find some space for display. Let's not forget just how much this one will cost to buy. Wing Nuts WW 1 biplanes are already a premium, imagine how much the Lancaster would be. I won't be surprised if it's at least a couple hundred or more.

Time to save up some money for this one. :giggles:

Not sure if it's the same it but according to my email from Kitlinx (who took over Roll Models) the 1/32 Lancaster kit is not scheduled for release until October 20th of 2019. Their MAP (Minimum Asking Price) is listed as $329.80 USD. You can have the option to add to your wish list to be notified when released.

This is huge news and no doubt it's gonna fly off the shelves. Granted the ones with the big bucks won't hesitate to pick one up. Once they do, watch on eBay and watch how much the sellers will sell them for. No doubt they will double the price.

Nope, it's not the same. The link is for the HK Models Lancaster version. Already the CAD pictures compared to WnW are not at all as detailed.
So the price for the WnW version will be much higher.
Already the Felixstowe of WnW is around 270 Euros, which again is roughly 311 USD..

My guess is that the price for WnW Lancaster will be at least: 449 Euros (aka 517 USD)

Any other guesses from the audience ? We can then look in one years time who came closest... :-D

Looks fantastic. But like a 1/200 Battleship kit it simply boils down to too big and too expensive for me. Ah first world problems.... :hmm:
