Ace Combat kits

Post by BlackSheep214 »

In the worse way, I've been wanting the Su-33D Yellow 13 Flanker kit. No way I'm spending a ridiculous money on this kit:

I saw they have other kits as well besides the usual F-14 Tomcats, F-15 Eagles and Shinden. I never knew they did:

Maybe Lyle with his contacts can get you a deal on one.

I've been eyeing those Ace Combat kits too. Especially the F-14 Pumpkin Face. But not a chance at that price

Check with Owl. I know she gets and builds these; she may have a contact also if Lyle can't get any.

Heck yeah ace combat's my JAM!!

Some of the older releases are out of production and you can only find them on eBay at stupid rediculous prices....

Saying that, if you check out hobby link Japan (HLJ.com), they do have Pumpkin Face in stock, and some boxings on back order.

Also, there are upcoming releases of ace combat egg planes. I know it's not EXACT, but those egg plane decals are roughly a similar size to some 1/72 scale markings.

I'm planning on taking those decals and using them on an actual Flanker, while giving the egg plane markings out of the spares bin

If you must have Yellow 13 or Mobius 1, those egg plane kits are pretty much the only game in town. :hmm:

I think I saw somewhere that an egg plane razgriz f14 was planned too. That would be sick!!!!!

I do have a spare decal sheet from the galm 1 boxing, and I have a buddy that might have some spares. I'll ask him if he has anydecal sheets I can buy/trade. :kissing:

Aren't most of these standard Hasegawa kits with a new box and decal sheet?

Pretty much so. I've tried finding AM decal sheets of Ace Combat series. No such luck..

More than likely Hasegawa has sort of deal with the Ace Combat folks so nobody else can print and sell the things. If that is the case, you're only other option is to print your own or find somebody who could do that.

Stik - I don't doubt that.

So... does anyone have decal set or even spare sets of Ace Combat Su-33 Yellow 13 you can copy or send me?
