Talk about anything modeling: kits, tools, paint, etc...

All very valid points. And very true. Do we need another new anything when other more obscure subjects are still waiting to be done? No, not really. But it certainly is not a bad thing. More options are a good thing. Will I buy the new kit of whatever? Most likely not. Not if I already have multiples of that subject in my stash. Unless it is a truly "killer" take on that subject, and for an excellent price. I can't afford those high end definitive kits. To those who can, enjoy.

Think it's Kinetic?!

I do have a dozen 190's in my stash, half of them from Eduard. Next year Eduard will release new kits from revised molds. Will I buy at least one of those?

Hell Yez!

When ZM scales down their upcoming Würger to quarterscale will I buy at least one of them?

Hell Yez!

For me it's worth it just when they're going to be 1% better than their predecessors. When it comes to my favourite subjects I have to have the state-of-the-art kit in my stash. And I love to build the older ones too, of course. Crazy?

No Sir! ...or maybe a bit

Well the hobby certainly is not dying... The same can't be said of the hobbyists though...

I guess we always will have an eye out for the newest kit of whatever. Injection moulding still gets better and better, what reflects in modern kits. Only my eyesight doesn´t keep path...

Another well written blog entry, Jim! You are good in what you do, mate! :shoutout:
