Seems like these two brands will work together in the near future:

As long as Alclad II is made by Aclad I am not worried. I only wonder why they decided to join, for Alclad is not really hard to get by here...

Interesting! I have used Alclad II and love it for the metal-look that it provides. You can't really find it locally here in Idaho, my LHS has VERY old stock of the stuff and in limited colors. I tried to have them order some for me awhile back and it either never came in or they sold it to someone else. I typically purchase it now online. As for the AK metal products, has anyone tried them? I've seen some videos on Youtube about it, but the only one that wasnt done by AK that I could find was from Florymodels and he basically discounted everything that AK was saying their products could do.

Ok guys, I have tested the AK Xtreme Metal & masking...

I am trying to upload my video-clip that shows what happened.

Not only with Tamiya tape, but I tried also with blue-tac...

Will update my AK Xtreme thread as soon as the upload of the video is done...

Stay tuned!

So, I went to the Ammo of Mig USA site and was unable to find anything about Alclad II products on their page; however, I went to the Ammo of Mig (European site) and they had the Alclad II products listed on that site. I wonder if they are only going to be available through them? I also noticed that they did not have the complete line of colors that you can find on other distributors sites. :hmm:

As long as it's all still available, I'm good with whoever's name is on it.

I tried it and was positively surprised.*

What Im a little bit afraid of is that my local hobby supporter - who slls Alclad II actually - wont have it anymore, because he doesnt sell the MIG range at all. But well see...
