Well Revell has these on their website currently... and these do not look very toyish to me...
a 1/30 scale X-wing!!!! I think the studio models were around that size
a 1/72 Millennium Falcon... not bad... gotta be better than the old MPC kit, but probably not as nice as the Fine Molds Falcon...
and in 1/48 (finally!!!!) another X-Wing and a Tie Fighter...
now Revell, how about a Y-Wing and the Tantive IV/Rebel Blockade Runner?
I don't think that I'll be holding my breath for any Dragon Star Wars stuff in the USA... Looks like Revell has it locked up here.

Well today at the LHS I saw these kits. In the fine print on the box of the Falcon and the 1/48 TIE & X-Wing... "a Fine Molds Model". So Revell apparently got the molds or at least the packaging rights via Disney. And yes, these kits are not bargain priced.

Allegedly Disney had paid George Lucas 4 billion $ when they bought the film rights from him. So I would have been surprised to see them not making some bucks back by the licensing rights of those kits.

Dragon announced the following kits:
1/35 AT-AT
1/144 AT-AT
1/144 TIE Fighter
1/144 X-Wing T-65 (Episodes IV-VI)
1/144 X-Wing T-70 (Episde VII - 'The Force Awakens)
1/144 Millenium Falcon
1/144 AT-ST and Snowspeeder Set

The AT-AT will be a beast in that scale!

So, I went Christmas shopping yesterday...I realized, that I am absolutely sick of Star Wars already.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some Star Wars...but the merchandising is insane. Every store I went to...Star Wars this, Star Wars that...every other commercial on tv has Star Wars tied in somehow.
...wonder if Gene Simmons has anything to do with their marketing department!
Reminds me of how Duck Dynasty went....it was an entertaining show...then the marketing/merchandising was EVERYWHERE....made me totally lose any interest in watching the show anymore.
That said, I can't wait to see the movie on Christmas day!

The same here in Germany, Fermis. From chewing gum over wine to letter paper. Everything's Star Warsed.
You have to remind yourself that it's a movie what it's all about. Just two hours of entertainment, nothing more.
And I don't like Disney Co. for all that they are.

Stopped by my LHS for a look around. What did my eyes see? Ban Dai Star Wars kits. 1/72 scale X-Wing fighters and others!!
I thought I read somewhere Disney was going to stop Ban Dai Star Wars kits from being sold here in the states due to licensing issues.
