Great service from Trumpeter/Hobby Boss

I had a mold defect on the left fuselage of my new 1/72 Hobby Boss Jayhawk. Snapped a pic, sent it off to Trumpeter service : joanna@trumpeter-china.com



Couple weeks later I received a full replacement sprue:



No charge, no shipping costs. Wonderful service - I'm a customer for life!

EDIT: went to put the part away and realized the kit was Hobby Boss. I guess Trumpeter works with/owns Hobby Boss?

Yup, Trumpeter and Hobbyboss are two sides of the same house. I need to see if I can get some replacement items from them. I have had zero luck trying to track down customer service on their website.

I will try that. I bought a Hobbyboss kit from the IPMS auction that was missing the PE fret. Hopefully they can replace the item.
