mmm... I'd be tempted. I've always liked the P-38 and I'd like to have a decent ETO version to go with the P-51 and P-47 builds I've got planned.
I think I'd have to wait until the price dropped a bit.

Well if you want an ETO version, the new Tamiya kit is not for you. The Tamiya version went to the Pacific and then the Med. The early types that went to England in late 1942 were then sent to North Africa during Torch. By the time that the 8th and then 9th Air Forces received the P-38, they got the later J & L versions. If you want one of those before (and IF....) Tamiya comes out with one of those, look at Hobby Boss, Hasegawa, or Academy.
