Revell Huey Hog Questions
Hey all. I have a question about Revell’s Huey Hog (the gunship). Does anyone know if the PE for the other brand kits will fit this one? There’s an Academy and Hobby Boss version that have PE sets.

What scale is the Huey?

It’s the old Monogram 1/48 one.

Re: Revell Huey Hog Questions
Monogram actually has two 1/48 Huey’s. An older 1960s vintage kit, and a later 1970s vintage kit, which is the one that they sell now. The Academy kit is a clone of the old Fujimi kit, which is about the same vintage as the original blue box Monogram kit. And the Hobbyboss kit is a fairly recent new tool kit.
Looking at Scalemates, the only PE set out there in in 1/48 is a generic UH-1B/C set by Eduard. So theoretically, it should fit the Revellogram kit. Some surgery may be required. Looking at the parts on the fret, it appears to be geared towards the Monogram kit.
