Well I’ve only built the F-105F/G. That kit had zero fit problems. I have yet to build any of the Monogram Tomcats in my stash. But test fits show the fit “step” at the upper to lower fuselage joint.

I built that one a few times as a kid. It’s actually a King Tiger. I do remember at one point that Aurora issued some of their kits with a little transparency that you would put inside the commanders hatch and if you took the turret off and held it up to a light source you could view it.
