And if I recall correctly, they have announced a 1/48 F-4E as well...

Thanks, but, I only build 1/72.

Although a 1/49 Phantom would be tempting, being just a tad smaller than the Hasegawa 1/48 models.

I built a ZM F 4J and there is a lot of engineering in the kit and a lot of plastic. It's less expensive than the Tamiya 1/48 F 14 and the quality is every bit as good. ZM F 4's are supposedly the new standard in F 4 excellence. I'm waiting for the F 4E to come out. I really like ZM kits and each of the 3 I;ve built have been excellen in fit and finish.

Have not built a Phantom since the Hasegawa kits of the 90,s One of theirs may be the one,looks good.
