Hey, Fermis....good to see you took a break! Loved those builds.

I wish I could get a break!!! Did get a day off today...spent sick as a dog....wasted day.

Forgot about the 108 mentioned by Borg. Very nice kit.
Only bug about it is the fit of the clear part. Took some work, but still wasn't quite right.

You can see the issue at the first panel line aft of the clear areas.

Second what Matt said on Eduard's MiG-21 kits. Heidi had a blast building this kit and it came out just beautiful.
Hint: leave the Brassin engine set. It is this deep inside the fuselage it's just wasted money IMHO.

The cockpit and gearbay sets are gorgeous, though.

I have a set of the bronze gear struts...not sure how necessary they really are, though, since the Fishbed is a pretty compact aircraft.

Yeah, those Eduard kits I've been building are fiddly beings. But, beside some phases of swearing, they are lovely engineered and the surface details are on top of the market.

The 110C is my second build after my comeback to the hobby and I think a Tamigawa kit would have been a better choice, but I don't regret it. When the 190A-5 is off the bench I'll finish her. I put her on shelf cause I wanted to improve my airbrush skills before tackling the black night fighter scheme. (Sorry, comments in German)



Go and get you one or more of those kits on your list. Then start a WIP and you'll get all the help you need to do it justice.

Ive built the -110G, and the biggest thing that muddled me up was the nacelle fit--Bit of a gap thats hard to get to. Dunno if it was just me, but the belly area was oddly gap-ed too.

the cockpit detail was outstanding, though. I had the profipack with PE...lovely detail.
