An interesting kit but a bit out of my price range.

Agree, especially when Eduard has very high quality Fw-190:s, one cannot help wondering, what makes Hasegawas Fw-190 so much ”better” that would justify that high price? I can understand if we go back 10 years, less options of high quality kits, but not now..

:hmm:

Very interesting. Have you seen the Trimaster version? Some of the best 1/48 Luftwaffe subjects...

The mark-up on some of these Hasegawa kits is amazing. FWIW... you can get the same kit direct from Japan via Ebay for $52 USD including shipping. And that's still too high for my blood. Like Kari said, the Eduard 190 kits are probably better AND cheaper.

Yes, considering that the “weekend edition” 190’s can be had for in the $30 range. And while they are the base level kit with no resin or PE, they are far more detailed at that level than the Hasegawa 190 kits. I have both companies 190s in my stash, but have not yet built one.
