Re: Problem: removing liquid mask
I have a product from Vallejo called Liquid Mask and their product number is 70.523. I have used it with Tamiya acrylics but you might want to check out their website. Glad the soapy water cleaned up your plane.BorgR3mc0 wrote:Doh!wjkunert wrote:Is this the same as Microscale Industries Micro Mask? It seems to be the same color. This stuff is water soluble and not recommended for acrylic paints. This could be part of the problem. The paint may have mixed with the mask and run under the tape. Acrylic thinner might touch it or even soapy water.![]()
I switched to Micro Mask because I use acrylics. Before that I used Maskol but I knew that was not compatible with acrylic. Soapy water sound like a gently and safe solution. I will give it a go.
So, does anyone know a liquid mask that is compatible with acrylic?
