Uschi Products

I happened to stumble across this site. Looks like he's got some pretty promising cool stuff here:

I've looked at the tarmac and airfield display bases they produce before, definitely something I have considered purchasing. I also like the idea behind the 3 Green flexible nose weight putty. :writing: :hmm:

One of the guys at IPMS was using their metal finish product on a recent project at a build nite meeting. That stuff gives a very realistic finish! :hmm:

Jelliot, I think you'd like his bases.

I have many different bases from many different people, and once I bought his Da Nang base, I decided that I would be buying his bases whenever he has one that fits my need at the time.

Uschi aka Alex Glass has made quite a name in the modelling scene. Got my first batch of MrPaint colours from him.

Overpriced and over here. He sure has some serious good products that really make sense, like "Three Green" (used it for my MiG 15 as nose weight). Try Alclad or Vallejo colors if you wanta superb looking metal finish, this stuff isn useless, but way too pricey for what it is.

About the bases:

Neat stuff, really. For those who dont have google and a printer/copy shop around maybe helpful. Did several bases almost the same way and have a lot of grass tufts etc. left here, white glue and bird sand arent expensive too, if you want to have a grass border.

In the end of course a very personal thing and a matter of taste of course. ;)
