What is on your plate to buy next?

Talk about anything modeling: kits, tools, paint, etc...

What is on your plate to buy next?

Post by LyleW »

Thought this might be fun, or not.....on my next up and in no particular order?

1/32 AT-6
T-28 scale to be determined.
1/72 Tu-95
1/72 AC-119 gunship
MiG 3 - any scale I can see
1/72 B-24 - perhaps for a GB?
1/72 B-52 - saw a neat red paint scheme in the book the kids got me
various commercial airliners from our trip to China - 1/200 or 1/144 (B777-200, A380, B-787-8, A320, A330?)
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I'm living the iron "1-4-2-rule" since a few months now, means I am allowed to buy one new kit for two finished ones.
Hope to bisect my stash this way until March 2082.

Anyway, on my wishlist are:
Focke-Wulf Fw190 V18 (Future Hobby Boss release)

Kamov Ka-27 Helix (also Hobby Boss)

German Submarine Type XVIIB Walter Boats (Mikro Mir)

You can not die until all the kits are finished. Just saying. :nono:

Got my second Zoukei-mura Do 335 today. Next should be some aftermarket for it. Maybe some more, who knows...

Good question Lyle.... :hmm:

I'm not really sure to tell you the truth - I tend to buy on impulse rather than anything planned.

I guess a B-24 Libby will be forthcoming, and some form of Biplane.

I guess the only kit I really fancy building is the Tanmodel Thunderflash.

Regards

:that:

All my desired kits have been bought.
Most times, I don't know I NEED something...until I see it!!! :lashed:

Also, in most cases...when I see a model I NEED...I'll wait a week or two....I tend to not NEED it anymore. :bored:

I am on a Main Battle Tank kick right now after nearly finishing the Meng AMX-30 kit...but whether it be Meng or Takom, they are easily $50-70 a pop so I am tending to resist my urges now thanks to budgetary constraints... :quotes:
