F7F Tigercat - color of the landing gears ?

Hi all,

I am doing some "research" of the paintwork of the Tigercat and have stumbled in a big question regarding the color of the landing gears..

Revells instructions tell they should be navy blue (in other words same as the fuselage)
But when "Googling", I don't actually find any reference picture with such color, but instead of aluminum/gray or white.( insignia )

What could be the correct color ? Blue, alu or white ?

After a lot of research, I painted mine black. The restored ones have silver/chrome landing gear.

Yepp! I would go for Navy Blue, too.
