Too close for comfort. Scared me to death.
Was looking for something on ebay and up popped the Eduard 1/48 B-29 Self Adhesive interior PE set. The AMS demons and demonettes were singing their siren song very loudly and clearly. Ever closer I was drawn to the "add to your cart" button. Oh I want you, oh, so close. Then I farted and it all cleared up. Whew......that was close. $53 bucks. I'm still shaking. Today, I win.
My Goodness, that was a close call!

I hate it when I get "itchy finger syndrome" when I'm on Ebay, not nearly as much as my wife hates it when I get that though!

53 bucks! Ouch...
eBay is no more what it has been many years ago. Too many professionals and shops these days that try to sell their stuff at prices as seen in brick and mortar shops. Hard to make a good deal or bargain. I have a look over there when bored, but usually leave after a few pages...

Not much in the way of bargains. However, for a lot of what I buy, supply-wise, It beats running 20 miles to the LHS.Thomas_M wrote:53 bucks! Ouch...

So, I just went on the Eduard site to glance at the set. Now I'm thinking, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.

That is what I've been told most of my life. However, so much of that will never be seen, unless you do a cut-a-way.Doogie wrote:So, I just went on the Eduard site to glance at the set. Now I'm thinking, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
Have you bought it yet?
