Why oh why can't I remember a search sequence?
Why oh why can't I remember a search sequence?
I am looking for decal sheet that has a B-17, B-24, B-29 and perhaps one two others. Seemed to be inexpensive and was in 1/48 scale. Now I can't find it. One thing about getting older...you make new friends every time you look in the mirror.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

What was the common thing about those aircraft on a single sheet? I can't imagine such for all those types...

I'm not having any luck googling for you, either.
I tried "B-17 B-24 B-29" "Bomber" and the individual bomber types. I thought that sounded like a DP Casper sheet, but that didn't work.
Maybe one of the Kits-World decal sheets?

It was a sheet of complete IPs for these bombers. Don't have a clue why those were chosen, but I wish I'd gotten it then.Stikpusher wrote:What was the common thing about those aircraft on a single sheet? I can't imagine such for all those types...

Have you tried the turn around/ sit down method? Actually that stops working after 55.

Yep. I even went back out of the room and came back in. The more I ponder this, I may have stumbled on it in the first place.Paul wrote:Have you tried the turn around/ sit down method? Actually that stops working after 55.

It was done by Monogram/Pro Modeler. B-17, B-24 and B-29 IPs. I have the sheet in my stash. Pro Modeler did a whole series of IP sheets. And here I was thinking it was some sort of markings/nose art sheet. I see them on ebay fairly regularly.LyleW wrote:It was a sheet of complete IPs for these bombers. Ohhh, IP sheets. I was looking for markings too.
I agree with Stik,,,,,,,I have a Pro Modeler 1/72 sheet that does Corsairs, Hellcats, Wildcats, etc,,,,,,it is handy to have those IP decals around for dressing up a cockpit really fast.

We have a winner. That is exactly what they were. Hoorah! Make a copy and email?
