After browsing the eduard website they seem to obsess over a particular aircraft for a while, then they move on to something else.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Re: Eduards new 109G-6
Kari has started this in regards of the different prices asked for this new kit from Eduard. I also have a look at Eduard´s prices when looking for stuff, but in almost 100% I get their products cheaper anywhere else, sometimes even from Hong Kong!
I also cannot see why the have a much cheaper price in Czech Koruna than in USD. In the end, as already said, I buy somewhere else.

Thats my fault for straying straight away. Sorry.
As for pricing i always go through hannants. I dont have to pay taxes because im buying from outside of europe, also shipping from the UK is much cheaper.
I priced a new engine for my Emil from eduard as opposed to getting it from hannants. The shipping from eduard was more than the part and shipping combined from hannants.
I think the reason for this is eduard supplies to resellers around the world, which means their shipping works on the more you buy the less you pay. They dont need to sell to the regular joe blogs to make money, theyre selling to the hobby shops who then sell it on.

I agree with you Mikey! I'd like to see Eduard do some more modern stuff and I'm not talking about other companies kits. And PLEASE do some stuff for the Italeri 1/48 MV-22 Osprey.
As for the price differences, I was looking for the Italeri 1/48 ES-3 Shadow. Found it at Sprue Bros for $64 USD. At Internet Hobbies for $55 USD. Big difference.

Indeed, and of course...scorpiomikey wrote: I think the reason for this is eduard supplies to resellers around the world, which means their shipping works on the more you buy the less you pay. It would not be smart for Eduard to compete agains their biggest clients, in other words all the resellers. Especially when it comes to new kits.
But still, the price difference is pretty hefty with this particular kit...
