Handi and Paul: LOL!!!

I think I found what I was after. A little clear plastic to cover it with and maybe a little frame work and it's done.

The dimensions are roughly 1-18" x 3/4". Should work perfectly.

Now all you need is black light and you're golden.

Oh this is gonna ROCK! Man, I love all these great ideas! Mustang, I started a "Hippy" VW Bus recently; I'm thinking I just may have to do an interior like this on mine. We'll see if my budget allows.

Mark: Thanks for the kudos and I can't wait to see this VW bus!!! Look on ebay for G scale or 1:24 scale Dollhouse stuff to do all this with. Works like a charm. lol

Well I made a little extra progress on the chassis this morning. I got all the rear brake lines and fuel line formed and installed, got the differential and rear springs all painted up and glossed and started fitting the rear shocks. The chassis has been painted all aluminum with a gloss coat over it and the fuel cell and other two boxes in the back have been darkened slightly with a coat of Tamiya Smoke for a bit of contrast. Here's what I've got so far with that:

I ended up terminating that R/H rear brake line just over the frame rail as I did the L/H side prior to test fitting the springs and diff in place.

I will check it out. I don't know that I have the budget yet for this, but I might make this bus so I can open it again to add things later. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks Mark! There are times when I wished I had such a thing as a budget on a build but my mind gets to running like a crazy horse and I build what I envision. That's half the fun for me on automotive builds. It seems there no limits and I love that part.
