Alclad New Enamel Paints

Post by jelliott523 »

I've been hearing some rumors that Alclad is going to start (or has started) producing some regular colors in an enamel form. Has anyone seen these products or tried them out? From what I hear, they are supposed to be airbrush ready, rapid dry and will be available in a wide range of colors. :hmm: :book:

Which is exactly why I'm switching to three part polyurethane clears now. Alclad's answer to clear coat is less than satisfactory. I'd be interested in seeing how the Alclad Enamel Paint lays down though. If it's really smooth then it would do gloss coats a lot of justice. We'll see.......... :hmm:

I hear ya on that but that's enamels man. Believe me , nothing irks me more than lookin' at an ultra gloss paint job that I just pulled off through the protection of glass for 5 days. lol
