So far on the bench or on the WIP shelf I have…

1/144 Boeing 737 – in Paint

Nice! There are not that overwhelming many 1/144 civil airplane projects/builds here on SPAM..
Would be nice to know, which airline, which 737 version etc ( = pics maybe??)
(or perhaps it will be a military 737 ??)

I just don't know how you guys do it with these multiple builds at one time. My bench would look like an explosion in a model factory if I did that and I've definitely got ADD because that would bug the crap out of me!!

It bugs the crap outta me too, that's why I work so hard to finish them! I am making some good progress so far. Hopefully I'll have something to post soon.

That's why I use the white paper backgrounds on my in progress photos... to conceal the chaos of my workbench...

It’s definitely a what-if, based on the desert scheme the RAF used in the 1960s on their cargo types like the Beverley. The idea was to have the civil airline company name (British Airtours) above the windows and on the tail – the What-if being that they had been contracted by the RAF to fly troops around the Middle East, North Africa and the Med.

This is part of an idea of an extended ‘What-if’ world I thought up, where basically the British Empire never really broke up, but became a more integrated Commonwealth with the British MOD taking responsibility for the protection of all – basically an excuse to build a verity of different aircraft types in RAF schemes… I really must finish it.

Mine is getting a little out of hand. I open the boxes, shove them in their tops and have them on the floor around my bench and work out if the tops. I'm switching between 3 soon to be 4 builds in one sitting. I'm a little amazed I'm able to keep it straigh . The nice thing is completions are a bit less spread out.
