Future Projects - somewhere in dreamlad.
Who know where this may go? What type of stuff do you have tucked away in your "glue fume" addled brain? May be in your stash, or it may still be a gleam in your eye, as you were once in your parent's eyes.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I have two, one easier than the other.
First, taking a DC-3 kit and create a dio of it being changed over to military use. Half painted in OD, half still in NMF, some ZC around where the cargo door would have been added, etc.
Second, taking a DC-3 and turning it into a DC-2 and a half. Yes, a DC-2.5. Google DC-2 and a half for a good story.

IJN Akagi is one of my favorite ships.I have the Hasegawa 1/350 in my stash with some extras.I really want to do it right but I will wait till I retire and move so that it doesn't get destroyed in any move I might make.
Just hope I don't loose my model building abilities by then.

Well my classic long term project is a 1/35 M4A1 DD. Since nobody makes a kit of it in injection molded plastic it will have to be conversion & scratchwork project. I have pretty much everything I need to do it now, but I know when I do start, somebody will come out with one as I near completion. 
That has happened on a few of my conversion projects before...
On a lesser note for the past month or two I have been kicking around various 70's era Cold War aircraft projects in my head. And they are pulling me very strongly now to getting what I have on the bench done so I can get one started. I great era for paint schemes and markings.

I just wanna finish the builds I have going right now. Not sure what I'll do after them. Kinda depends on what I get at the show in a week and a half.

well, so far this year I have those two fighter-bombers to finish (-110 and beau), a mig3, and a wacky hurri. Plus, there are two club-builds: mebers are going to be building the same two kits (kangnam f-18 and a testors pt-22).
thats 6 so far. Pretty busy bench!!!
But I would like to get going on my Strigon-Flanker, and those two Eduard -110s......gosh are my eyes bigger than my table!!!!

Most of my future projects are "sets" of models. With the exception of the AP-2H Napalm Nellie conversion that I am still accumulating items for before I can start on her.
I have almost everything to do the set of the three different Skywarrior tankers, the A-3B with the tanker package, the KA-3B, and the EKA-3B. (A-3Bs could have the tanker package installed and still use the bomb bay,,the other two couldn't)
Another set is the RF-8 Crusaders,,,one of each of the 4 variants. (5 if I do that one with the huge ECM bulge on the front of the fin) Another set of Crusaders to cover all the F-8A, B, C, D,,,,,,,and the DF-8F and DF-8L,,,,,well, and to include the "small nose rebuilt" versions.
One of each of the Naval aircraft that carried the nukes on external pylons, including 7 of the different nukes, 5 of which are available, 2 need to be scratch built. (the Mk 8 and Mk 12)
Then I have the kits to do the "thin winged Phantom ringers", such as the YF-4J with thin wings, the YF-4E Prototype with thin wings,,,,,,,,the USAF thick winged F-4D with a 5" HVAR as a target rocket (TDU) for the Sidewinder training on each side of the aircraft.
And Skyhawks by the dozens,,with every kind of weapons loadout that you can imagine,,,,,,from a Mk 7 nuke (the Mk 7 was the cause of that tall landing gear) to composite weapons like 3000# LGB and "Bull Winder". And a few of those A-4E Virgin Echo Squadrons that had the Insignia on the front like an A-4C, in the 1968 period.

I want to further pursue a project that has been simmering at low heat for almost two years now.
Converting Trumpeter's 32nd scale MiG-29M into the MiG-29 OVT.
AM stuff: Black Box MiG-29M cockpit set, Zactomodels burner cans (using only the "innards") and Eduard PEs.
What's been done so far: lithos to have a set of brass nozzle petals etched and I've just finished lots of Illustrator vector graphics to plot paint masks in order to replicate the OVT's splendid paint scheme including all lettering.
The area highlighted in green is still giving me some headaches; the nozzle sealing members and actuator fairings:
A few years ago I was able to take the measurements during the Le Bourget airshow, but I need someone to translate them into CAD-files to have them 3D-printed.
