Re: Tamiya Bombshell
I'm excited to see that Tamiya will be doing this. I do love HK's kits, but since the Mosquito is a "want" versus a "must have", I like the idea of a cheaper, yet wonderfully engineered kit. This way I can justify getting it!

Re: Tamiya Bombshell
Back in the 80s I had a 1/48 scale B-52 kit. Man, that is one big arse kit!
Never say never for a B-17 Fortress in 1/48 scale. Imagine stik going crazy scratch-building the interior on that one.

Re: Tamiya Bombshell
The only evidence i can find is still the comment made in 2013 from avspecs about the tamiya engineers crawling all over KA114 here in NZ. If theyre using her as a base then it should be close, but bear in mind 114 has modern equipment in it, even if it is disguised as the original.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
