That's a cool cool cool project and even cooler plane!
Looking good!
Has been on my "to-do" list for years already, especially now when Airfix came with this new tooling

I presume that this feature is for Airfix kits?

Hi Gents,
Sorry for the late reply, it's been a bit manic over here of late. We're still in the midst of this bloody heatwave, although it's starting to calm down now thank God, I don't need heatstroke again!
As others have mentioned, we don't generally have A/C in the UK, as we never used to get enough hot days to warrant it. Also, our houses are designed and insulated to keep the heat IN. So even when it cools outside it's still blooming hot and muggy in the house. I would say the only access to a/c we regularly have is in our shops and offices (and I work from home so that's a no) and our cars - except the compressor pump went on BOTH our cars a few weeks back and I've only just got one repaired. It's not been a fun time I can tell you.
Roll on the Autumn, I can't stand the bloody summer!
Seriously, if that dam weather girl bangs on about how nice the heatwave is with a grin on her face again, I'm going to throw a brick at the TV.

That's a no from me Bruce - I like Airfix, but I hate their marketing department. I was also a member of their club and forum for a while, but the club is really only a vehicle get you to spend more money with them, not something to promote the hobby, and the less said about the forum the better. There ARE some good guys on it, but it's run by a serious modelling Nazi with a Napoleon complex.

Get it Kari - it's a superb kit.
How's the Junkers going?

Slowly getting the cockpit painted up - I need to finish the IP and give it all a clear coat. I also have to assemble and paint the pilots and the rear Lewis gun. Still loving it though, it's a great kit.

Cheers!

Nice progress, Stuart. I need to get this kit soon.
