LOL! Thanks Bruce - It IS a humbrol cutting mat but no, the paints are Hataka Blue line. It's not my best bit of painting, but I'll hide it under the weathering.speedgraflex wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2026 2:36 pm to borrow Kari’s phrase: Wonderful! I wish I could paint like that with acrylics… or are these enamels? Whenever I see the bright red pad I think Humbrol enamels.

Ah, Hataka. I don’t know if we in the states see those as much. I can still buy Testors square bottle at my local art store and I do when I can. I don’t know very much about Hatska as I proved to you earlier.

Very nice work so far Stuart! The camo turned out wonderfully!

Bruce, Sprue Brothers carries Hataka paints. I've used the Orange line and they airbrush nicely.
Stuart - your hairy stick talent never fails to impress me. I can only do tiny detail work with a brush.

They just a basic water based acrylic Bruce, no different from any of the others. What I do like is the range of colours. I buy mine direct from Poland mostly. I also use a lot of Humbrol, Citadel, Vallejo, AK/Ammo and Revell acrylics, and I quite like the new range of paints ICM are putting out - although I've not used many yet.speedgraflex wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2026 2:45 pm Ah, Hataka. For airbrushing, I'd like to get into using the traditional Tamiya paints, and the new Mr Colour Aqueous - I have a few, I've just not jumped down the rabbit hole yet.
