A little bit of progress from last night and tonight.

Bang seat assembled and painted. Kinetic color call out were odd. I followed the same color call out in the Tamiya
F-16 Aggressor Viper instruction guide.

Top halves of fuselage glued together and cockpit tub installed. Bang seat don't go in until later in the build.

Main strut wheel well assembled and ready for paint.

I still have three more Kinetic Viper kits in my stash. All three of them will be Belgian Commemorative schemes. Bought aftermarket sheets years ago. Pretty cool scheme but all are alike yet different tail art for each.

This kit I have the luxury to skip 3 or 5 steps because they're for the two seater Viper. :lashed:

I’m curious to see where this goes. Luke is just up the ways a bit from here… although the F-16 training program there is not what it was like when I moved here 6+ years ago… I wish that they still did F-15 training here too… :hmm:

Sorted out all the parts to be painted white - inner gear doors, wheel well sections, struts, wheel hubs, inside of intakes, etc… No new assembly progress tonight.

Very nice! I have the Texas ANG boxing of the newer Kinetic Viper that I got at Nationals in 2023. I really wish they'd put more detail in the gear bays.

Yeah… I’ve noticed the gear bays were simplistic at best. No tubing or wirings to be seen. :bored:

Needless to say the burner cans aren’t anything to write home about. Not as detailed as Tamiya’s Viper burner cans. Oh well… onward….
