New Andy’s HHQ Store

Post by Stikpusher »

Today was the “Soft Opening” of the new Andy’s HHQ store in Tolleson. Let’s just say that the new store is much bigger than his original shop in Glendale (which will remain open for business)
The outside still lacks signage, so you have to know where you’re going for now, but that will be changed soon. Anyways, here are a few photos

and what I’m really jazzed about beside this being closer to home for me is that there is a meeting area to the left side when you come in where clubs can have their meetings. AZ AMPS will meet there in May on our usual second Saturday of the month.

They are not yet ready to open full time, as today a few bugs needing to be worked out were discovered, but stand by for when the “Grand Opening” will happen. If you’re in the Phoenix area, stop on by and check us out. If your in on a Monday, Tiesday, or Wednesday, stop in and say Hello, I’ll be working in the back on the partner business’ warehouse.

He posted a video of the place during that soft opening. All I can say is wow. I would not be allowed in there unsupervised.

Very cool Carlos - this is attached to where you work correct?

If I'm ever in Phoenix!

Looks like a great shop. The tabled area is great. I've often thought that if I ran a model shop I'd like an area where modellers could just drop in and hang out, build a model or two. I'd even bung in a coffee machine and sell some cakes and run it as a modelling cafe. Hell, why not a bar!

Yup, there are handheld baskets as well as wheeled carts there for customers who are seriously doing some purchasing…

Yup, my company is in the rear of the building… No coffee machine here, but there is a cooler with sodas for sale and some candies as well.
