How to do do easy winter white wash camo on tanks

I've been looking at several YouTube videos on winter white wash camo. All are kind of confusing to follow or intimidating to do. I want to do it on a T-34 tank. Who has the easiest, pain-free method?

I will find a cheap mule tank kit of sorts somewhere to try it myself.

Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

I used hair spay, let dry a day or so, spray a white, thinned or not, light coats. Let dry,use you wife’s toothbrush dipped in water to scrub away the hairspray.

I paint the tank in the base color, then use a paint brush that would match what a 1/35 scale crew would use to apply a white wash in the field and have at it with some Flat White paint.



My goal is to make the tank look scruffy like the real ones did.

I grind up white chalk and.mix it into some water and like Stik apply it with a brush of appropriate width. When it dries I use a stiff brush to remove the clumps...and if there's an area I don't like, it's easily removed with more water.

I do the hairspray method,a basecoat followed by a light coat of hairspray,as soon as a drys a top coat of acrylic white,as soon as it drys,with a damp brush gently scrape or scratch however much white you want to remove.After the the thing drys,seal it up,filter and weather.
