My grandson, Sully, 10 years old, and I started that old Monogram M48A2 tank yesterday morning. We got most of the hull and turret assembled and he sprayed all the running gear.

He's doing better than me Gary, I've been building mine for over a month and haven't got the turret started yet!

I have the WWI Mk.IV in the someday pile. Way, way too many parts that are completely covered up and questionable as to value to the kit. Interesting kit thoough.

Tamiya? Build it - it's supposed to be a nice kit by all accounts. You could just not paint the interior?

Very cool to hear Tom, you;re certainly making a nice job of that Stuart.

I'm very much of the same feeling this year, or the next few years even. I want to concentrate on 1/35 Armour, with maybe a coup[le of 1/48 aircraft if I can.

As far as new purchases go - this is what I'd like to get this year, hopefully for my birthday and Christmas (and dependant on me selling a few kits this year).

Stuart, I have a strong suspicion that you're probably doing a much more "thorough" job on yours. And we were workin' as a team; I held the poor fitting parts close enough to glue, and Sul manned the glue brush. That gave us an advantage I guess; mostly though, our progress was due to the fact that we were building like 10-year-olds!

I've got the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther in my stash. I'll look into a Panzer IV.

The reason I'm leaning towards building more armour or "targets" as some like to call them is because I've done such a high number of aircraft builds last year, I need a new genre subject to build to keep the mojo running high.
