A few posts back I had to look up “gubbins.” You used that term for the “doodads,” “bits n’ bobs,” “junk,” etc. This is a word I have never heard or seen before!

Dear lord, I was around soldiers of the Empire/Commonwealth for much of a year, and heard many unfamiliar words, “gubbins” sure was not one of them. It was funny that at work today, I heard my boss tell one of my co workers to “bin” some items, and internally I laughed. To us, that means put it some particular storage bin, while to you Brits, it means to throw it into the garbage…

Strange, we use 'Storage Bin's' too - out on the shop floor and such. But Gubbins is a good word! You need to use it more and spread it's use around the US

Actually, whist I've got your attention Carlos, what's the best Humbrol paint to use for a USMC M48 in Vietnam? I have 66 OD and 155 OD or do I need something else do you think?
