Very nice John! I really like the Veltro & Osprey!

The decals are probably much easier to use compared to airbrushing those onto the model.

Italeri is a company that has had some great kits and then some downright stinkers. The 72nd Tornado comes to mind.

I've got quite a few built and in the stash

They're very hit or miss. I've built the Osprey and it wasn't horrible.

I have several Italeri aircraft kits in my stash but I don’t remember building any in decades… :hmm: Aside from a few that started out as ESCI molds… :giggles:

That's a mighty good looking Finnish Hawk! This particular example, the HW-302, was the first BAe Mk 51 Hawk that was delivered to Finland, 16th of December 1980.

Sadly, the same Hawk, in March 1981, crashed to the ground while recovering from a loop. The pilot, who attempted to eject from the aircraft while it was flying at a low altitude in a partially inverted position, died upon impact with the ground. The passenger, who was also in the aircraft when it crashed, was seriously injured.
