cbaltrin wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2024 7:26 am The truth is that in this day and age there are very few bad cameras; however, there are very many bad photographers. I currently use a Fujifilm X-T3. Previously, I’ve had Nikon D300, D40 and an Olympus point and shoot, which all took fabulous pictures. Now camera lenses are a totally different story, there are lots of cheap consumer grade lenses out there, some made of plastic, which aren’t very good.

An interesting question to the group is, how many of you can say you have a radioactive camera lens? I can… :giggles:

Oh, btw, if any of you use Instagram, you can check out my non-model related photography if you like. My instagram account is @cbphotoz

Thank you , yes, most of the photos are taken near where I live. Except from the one from Niagara Falls, which is actually pretty close as well.

Some really impressive work Chris - very nice indeed. I don't do Instagram very often but I have followed you.

Do you do a lot of post-processing or are those all in camera?

Those are some really beautiful images, Chris! And I agree about there not being many bad cameras.

I use this one for my work in progress shots...

This one for the finished shots...

The lens is a EF 24-105 f/4 IS.

John, nice setup! I hope you use that 5Dmk4 for more than taking pictures of model kits :hmm:
