Hate when I throw things away and shouldn't have

Built about 90% of this kit many years ago and threw away the box thinking I would never finish it.
Unfortunately the canopy and I believe the weapons were still in the Box.
Now if I want to complete it I will have to buy another used kit on Ebay just to use the canopy and weapons and the rest will have no use really and will cost me at least $40 most likely.
I used aftermarket decals and did it in the Jolly Rogers paint scheme. Put a lot of work into all those, "no step" decals on top of the wings so I hate to junk it.

Go to Hobby Lobby they have the Maverick F-14. I'm pretty sure its the same mold. Its around $20 on 40% off week

Another option for this is to build it up as a bone yard bird. Canvas over the cockpit, weather it up, sun bleached. Sitting in the desert. That would be cool.

Right? It was a horrible fitting kit.

It's probably the only kit that has been my arch nemesis. I've never been able to get the fuselage parts to fit right. It's not my new paint mule.
