Talk about anything modeling: kits, tools, paint, etc...

Think I might give this old kit a try.
Built the cockpit years ago and its been sitting ever since.
Have any of you built this kit?

No experience with this one. But, it’s an old Monogram kit. How bad could it be?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I never had many issues with the old Monogram kits personally. How about you?

Welcome to stencil hell….ROFL! I’ve done Monogram kits as a kid in the late 70s and 80s. Never seen that boxing before.

Some, but mostly self inflicted.

I built the original release of the F-4C/D kit when it was new…. No PE like this one. I thought it was a fine kit back then, but I’m biased… :giggles:

Nice. I'm going to build it just like on the box. This was an anniversary Phantom for service from 1963-1988.
TAC's oldest F-4 the box says

Passing on this kit.
It's missing parts.
