Merseburg aircraft & technical museum

Post by tigrazor »

Hi folks...

Gonna visit an aircraft & technical museum nearby tomorrow - including Starfighter, Me 163 replica, MiG 21, Su 22 etc.

Any special wishes for pictures?

Simply take pictures of everything...
The Starfighter, the Me 163 replica and some of those WWII aircraft engines would be nice.

Yes, I could use some good reference photos of the Komet.

Yeah, please use these, because the Me 16e shown there is nice, but pretty unphotographable. 1st floor under a roof with little space around and bad conditions. But at least shes in good neighborhood - a Fokker Dr.I stands besides her. ;)

They have five MiG 21, one of them completely torn, as well as a F-104 G - if you need those pictures or others, just PM me.

Not only planes are there, but for example a 1928 Harley, BMW 3.5 Alpina, Auto Union, Fokker Dr. 1 (!) and many many more - too much to list here.

Heres a little best of:

These are very nice. Thanks, Lucas.

Very nice pics & close-ups Tig!

Hmm, "only" ~ 700 km from where I live... just a little bit too far.. But one can always plan... :-)
