Well walking out empty handed is not supporting your local shop… Not even any paint or glue? I’m sure that you’ll correct that on your next visit.

Planning on itery soon. Had to check my paint stash inventory list of the discontinued Model Master colors. Definitely going to grab a couple bottles of Aircraft Grey and Panzer Dunkelgelb 1943 and.... if I’m not mistaken there is a RLM 23 Red. Coulda sworn it was in there. Looking to grab Tamiya Light Gunmetal and Racing White lacquer colors too. Who knows, I might grab either the Jenny kit and or one of the balsa wood aircraft kit.

Excellent news! Utica NY area eh? I remember there used to be a shop out there that advertised in FSM and I would order from in pre internet days. Excellent prices compared to anybody else, but I don’t remember the name of the shop.

Made a quick stop after work today. Picked up a bottle of Tamiya lacquer color called Light Gun Metal (passed by on Racing White for now), grabbed 5 bottles of Model Master acrylics (discounted) - Aircraft Grey (2), RLM 23 (red), PanzerDunkengelb 1943, and Green FS34258 (enamel). That color is similar to PollyScale WarPac Grey Green / LifeColor Mimetic Green. They had a lot of Helio Drab Green

Oh yeah... all 6 bottles came to $14 and change. I was expected to pay $20 - $25.

This Friday and Saturday, Clinton is having their annual Christmas Holiday Shopping Stroll in the village. Clinton Hobbytown is one of the participant stores to stay open til 9pm. Guess where I’m taking the missus to shop for me?
