My wife finds kits for me at antique and consignment stores. Most don't have any idea what they're worth, assuming everything's in in the box.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Yeah I agree. My sister told me she saw a couple airplane model kits in her local thrift store. She texted me immediately and asked if I’m interested. Since she is well versed in knowing if a kit is complete, she will check the contents. Apparently, this kit was partially started. I told no thanks.

There was a monogram f-14 tomcat today... Man I wish I were allowed to buy products at work immediatly!

Ahh yeah funny thing is... my work is 2 hours away from home, so there is NO way my siblings are coming all the way over to buy me something :giggles:
However, I did realize it is in the wrong section, so I bet no one will notice it.
