Hey there...

Although Im more a figure and diorama builder, I tried to build some planes in my teenage years. Including two (yes, TWO!) 1/48 F-15 E from Revell. A beautiful beast she is. Furthermore, my Japanese Viper...

needs a "friend".

I have chosen Hasegawas "DJ" variant, cause it comes with an aggressor scheme and the correct decals. Maybe Ill give her some spare seats from resine. Very cool machine, she is.

Now the questions:

>How correct is Hasegawas "DJ" kit?

>If not, what has to be corrected?

>I cant find JASDF figures in that scale. Maybe Ive overseen some (would be perfect if theyre avalable in Germany).

Many thanks in advance!

I do not know anything about the Hasegawa F-15. But I must say I like that Japanese Viper. It reminds me of the Starlancer Naginata spaceship.

I think but not sure, that the WWII Japanese prototypes and trainers were yellow.

I assume you're talking about 1/48 scale? Hasegawa F-15's are great kits. Haven't built one myself though. From what I've heard and read, it's the best one out there other than the Revell Strike Eagle. If you're getting the F-15J/DJ, they're good to go.

There were orange versions as well. ;)

We have a winner btw.

Its gonna be Revells F-15E (better fitting than the Hase version) with DMX decals. More in the WIP corner. ;)
