1/700 scale? I did the same kit a couple years ago. It’s now in a clear display case in my son’s room. Fun kit to do.

I’d love to the the 1/350 scale IJN Battleship Ise w/seaplane tender.

I remember that build Tony. A great job - and interesting life of the Mogami. Light cruiser converted to heavy cruiser. Beat up at midway and converted to an aircraft cruiser.

The Light Cruiser to Heavy Cruiser conversion was the lesser change. The main battery was swapped out from triple 6” gun turrets for twin mount 8” gun turrets. This class was very large for cruisers, being longer in length than any of the Pearl Harbor battleships. US scouts frequently mis identified them as battleships early in the war.

Beautiful work Tony! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:
