LukGraph is happy to announce the release of our new model kit - a 1:32 scale Grumman J2F-5 Duck. This American single-engine amphibious biplane was used by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard during World War II. It served as a utility, reconnaissance, and rescue aircraft, capable of operating from both water and land. With its unique design and reliability, the J2F-5 played a crucial role in various support missions across the Pacific and Atlantic theaters.
Our model will be entirely 3D-printed (no resin castings) and features a fully detailed engine and interior, supplemented with photo-etched parts.

As with all our kits, the struts are reinforced with wire for added strength. We are also introducing a new standard with a vac-formed canopy, complemented by 3D-printed frames. This innovation allows modelers to easily cut out the glazing from the blister and paint the frames separately without masking. The kit offers multiple display options, including an open or closed canopy, a deployed or stowed machine gun, and landing gear in either the up or down position.

To enhance realism, we've included a catapult trolley and pilot figurines for those who want to showcase the model in its operational environment.

Three optional paint schemes will be available:

* A Grumman J2F-5 Duck from the Fleet Air Photographic Unit Atlantic, 1941.

* A U.S. Coast Guard aircraft aboard the USCG cutter STORIS, March 1944.

* A colorful Argentinian Navy scheme from the Escuadrilla de Observación, Escuadra Aeronaval Nro. 2, Base Aeronaval Comandante Espora, 1956.

We hope modelers worldwide will warmly welcome our latest release and enjoy building it as much as we enjoyed designing it!

I saw that on The Modelling News. Looks quite nice and I'm hoping they do a 1/48 release.

Looked all over and can't figure out how the 'passengers' (not the flight crew) boarded the plane. Also, when they did rescues, how did they get the downed crew on board?

Need to provide a decal set for the Murphy's War duck
