Losing a long time friend...

He's been with me through good times and bad in all my years of building model kits. A pair of tweezers that was given to me at 8 years old by my grandfather who steered me into building model kits. It was very sentimental to me because he knew there was something I wanted to do as a hobby. And it was my good pair too! :scream:

I get it... I've had a good run with it. I won't toss it away because of sentimental reasons. I've got others from Harbor Freight but will order another type I found at scalehobbyist - fine point curved/slant tweezers.

50+ years on a pair of tweezers is pretty good. I have a few fishing lures like this. They are so beat up from catching hundreds of fish. I'll never get rid if them but they are relegated to the display only.

Don’t pitch them. Do you have. Any contacts that could spot weld them?

Nope.. Gorilla glue doesnt work. Don't own a spot welder either. I know that "could" work.

Duct tape, baling wire, & chewing gum… those three items can fix most anything… oh yeah, 550 cord also ;)

If you've got a local machine shop they could possibly take care of that for ya Tom.
