Building the old Monogram F-4C/D 1/48 and it's in different camo than the typical Vietnam camouflage.

If the kit decals don't work I will have to purchase these I
think.

According to scalemates, the kit is dated around 1990, 1991. They should be good. I’ve had decals from the 70s and they went on with no problems. As long as they’re either in separate bag or between the pages/folds of the instruction guide, I don’t foresee you having issues.

The only time I’d be wary or worried if the decal sheet is yellowed and the decals itself have clear border being yellow/brown.

Man, I have that exact same kit in my stash! I'm looking forward to seeing that built! :shoutout:

Mike, I've used some really old Monogram decals (30+ years) to good effect but I first brushed them with liquid decal film. When that dried, I put an electric hot-plate on my worktable with a small pan of water that I kept just below a simmer. I gave them a good soak in that hot water and even then, they required a lot of time on a paper towel, with repeated brushings of the hot H2O. But they held up and went down without drama!
