Well, they have finally arrived in the warehouse, the new 17ml squeeze bottles of AK Real Color Lacquers. They have a different screw top for the bottles to easily tell them apart from the acrylics.





They are also coming out with sets, like the 3rd Gen Acrylics



So far several shops have ordered their initial stock of the paints from us, so keep your eyes peeled at your favorite LHS.

I hate those dropper bottles. I prefer what they use now. Are they the same amount of paint as in glass bottles?

Again, yes. Everything is the same other than the bottle.

Yup, I know prey upon those with a styrene addiction… The bottles are exactly the same as AK 3rd Gen, Vallejo, Mig Ammo, etc. the only difference is the screw off cap.

Yeah I prefer the glass jars over the squeeze dropper bottles too. Much easier to mix/stir in the wide mouth jars. But paints do tend to last longer in the squeeze dropper bottles. Less evaporation of the carrier. The squeeze dropper bottles actually contain more paint. 17ml in the squeeze droppers as opposed to 10ml in the glass jars.

Good to know, Carlos. I wonder if they'll be priced the same as glass bottles or slightly higher?

Well, you’re gonna get 70% more paint, so that tells me more expensive. But if the containers themselves are less costly for AAK, that might offset some of the price raise. Pure speculation on my part about that, but it is a possibility.

Looks like it's a couple bucks more
