That Academy is releasing a new tool F-51D "Korean War"

Unless its going to be in a different price point. I'm not sure they're going to de-throne the Eduard kit or even the Airfix and Tamiya kits

Academy and Airfix have done a bit of mold swapping over the past several years. I wonder if this may be another?
