There are many types of masking materials out there and I think there are just as many ways to mask and do canopies, special marking and such. I just purchased about 25 ft of Parafilm M off of E Bay and wonder if any of you guys use this stuff.

Used this Parafilm stuff some years ago, but only once. Don't know, but I could not get it work as described in FSM. It never could hold its shape after having been stretched and applied.

Today my favourite weapon so masking are some rolls of Tamiya masking tape. I also have worked with precut masks from Montex with nice results. For canopies I am a lazy boy and get some precut masks from Eduard, for example.

I've heard of it, but never used. it. I just bought a 2" roll of Frog (kabuki) tape and several A4 size sheets of Kabuki tape (from MAKETAR).

Tamiya Tape on simple canopies (Sptifire, Mustang). Pre-cut Eduard masks for the hard stuff (Stuka, Zero, Avenger....) Greatest invention since air...
