Bristol Beaufighter

It is my belief that this was primarily a wooden aircraft with no real panel lines ala the Mosquito. Right or wrong.

Not wooden, all metal monocoque construction.

...and right, you are. finally found that information after 2-3 days of looking. A couple of pieces mentioned wood, though.

Here are some shots of NMF, the initial prototype, and one in postwar service. Both show metal skinning and panel lines.
