When AFV Club first announced they was coming out with a Dorchester my first thought was I need to get that and convert it into one of Rommel's. Then a few months later I found that AFV Club beat me to the idea. I've had this kit in the stash since it's release, I think it was 2017. One thing that surprised me was that all the radio equipment is cast in resin and all look very good. This is my first time building a AFV Club kit and first impression is its a great all around kit. The instructions for one are light years a head over Dragon they actually show in great detail how parts fit together. Like Dragon kits the part count is high the first 5 steps just has you building the frame and adding things to it most of it will be hidden in the end anyway unless you go picking it up to look under it. In the end I will add it into a diorama so it will be fixed to a base. Anyway here is a few photos, the frame is built up to step 3 with already lots of parts being added.

Thanks for looking in! I hope this kit will break my slump I've been in, I'm already having a blast building it!

Thanks everyone! DAK captured 3 of them and Rommel used 2 for his command.

...and he called them Max and Moritz, two classic German comic figures by Wilhelm Busch, first released in 1865. Until today their adventures are a part of the education of many German / European kids.
If you like comics or just good and funny storys, you should check them out.
