Syrcon 2018

I've been waiting to go to Syrcon again held at the American legion in Cicero, NY. $5 admission fee was cheap.
It has grown a bit since I last went 2 years ago. Definitely a lot more kit entries in various subjects and class. I took a few pictures with my phone camera and for some reason it doesn't load after doing all the uploading and posting in this thread was done. I couldn't find my saved draft on my PC when I had done so on my phone. Oh well... I will post what I did get.
I bought raffle tickets - 6 for $5 for model kits raffles. There was another $5 raffle drawing for the newest 1/48 scale Tamiya F-14Tomcat kit along with a couple airbrushes, airbrush sander, paints, and an armour kit - I can't remember what it was. The drawing for that was to be held at the close of the show (6 p.m.) I wasn't planning on staying til then.
I did win not one, but two kits in the raffle:
This one was missing decal set.
I didn't buy any kits due to a lot of them were older kits, a few I can get cheaper online brand new. However, I had debated on one particular kit - ICM 1/48 scale Yak-7B - IF... he was accepting credit cards as payment. Unfortunately the dealer wasn't accepting credit card. Now I had wished I had brought money.
I did buy these for a quarter each. Articles that can help me with future builds (airbrushing camo, paint washes for realism, weathering, build better armor etc...)
Picked up a couple fliers of upcoming shows:
November 18th in Fulton, NY. I may go to this one. About a 45 minute drive east of me via NYS Thruway

This is located in my area just outside Chadwicks. Minutes to get there from my home. I never knew they had a show going on for the last 6 years. Definitely going to this one come April.
April 12th and 13th Noreastcon 2019 in Latham, NY. I'd like to go to this one if the driving distance is reasonable. We'll see...
